Victorious Living

The devil, the adversary is real. But we are not supposed to be his victims rather we are supposed to exercise authority over him.
However, we can not do so if we are ignorant of his devices. When we do not know or recognise his wiles or tricks, we are likely to fall for them.
Also when we do not know our place of power and how to walk in its reality, we may play into his hands too.
So what do we do?
Remember, this battle is spiritual and not fleshy. (Physical or Logical). We can not fight a spirit being like the devil operating in the flesh.

Ephesians 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Take special note of this truth. Jesus is the one who has defeated him before, so is in a better position to teach you how to keep him defeated. So choose to believe him. He knows better than you. He is also head of all Principalities.

Colossians 2:10

.

And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
You may not know this, but the devil and all his demons know this.
So stay in your place.

How? Never step out of love.

When we step or stray away from love by becoming hateful, we expose ourselves to the powers and activities of darkness.
1 John 2:11
But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
It is a dangerous exposure. Darkness is about cruelty. It is important to note also that you cannot win the devil fighting with his own weapons.
Stay in the your own place of protection and power. How? Dwell or locate yourself in God by dwelling in love.

1 John 4:16

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Stay connected to the mercy of God. When we are merciless we can not connect to God’s mercy.

Matthew 5:7

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
James 2:13
For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
If not for mercy, none of us has any standing with God. It was by his mercy and love that He sent Jesus to come and die for us. We never deserved or qualified for it rather we were forgiven and not punished the way we deserved. That is mercy.
The place of love is the place of Protection. It is the place of divine leading. It is the place of real supernatural power not faked, manipulated or acted.
Stay in your place. Be focused in the pursuit of you glorious destiny in God. Refuse to be distracted by being overly concerned about the devil. Just put him in his place and go ahead fulfilling destiny in grand style.
The devil and whole forces of hell could not stop the power of resurrection and that is the power at work in you today.
Keep living victoriously in Jesus name.
